Prices & Portion Guide

All Joanna Rose cakes are individually designed in consultation with you, so each cake is priced individually. Our prices reflect the attention to detail and time spent perfecting every element of your cake from the very first consultation, to the delivery and set up.

As a guide, the price of your cake will depend mainly on two things:

  • Size: how many tiers, and the width and depth of each tier.
  • Design: the designs shown on this website are priced from Band A (simple) to Band C (complex)

Our standard cake tiers are 4.5″ tall, which gives elegance and height to your cake. Birdcages count as two tiers, as do double-height tiers. Other heights are available on request. A typical serving is 1″x2″ wide for sponge, 1″x1″ for fruit. Cupcakes are priced separately, but range from £3 to £6 each depending on decoration.

  • Three tier cakes start from £550
  • Four tier cakes start from £650

A consultation is available by appointment only. Delivery under 30 minutes is free, then chargeable depending on distance.  Stand hire is available for a small fee and a returnable deposit. Please note we have a minimum order spend of £500 for wedding cake orders (excludes stand hire, delivery or wedding favours).

Flavours

We take as much care with the inside of the cake as we do the outside, so all Joanna Rose cakes are made with the finest quality ingredients sourced from a range of specialist suppliers. Many of our customers choose us at wedding fairs because they say our cakes taste the nicest.

The most commonly selected cake flavours are listed below, and most are usually available for you to taste at your consultation.  If you have any other requests then please ask, as they can probably be accommodated.  Remember that each tier of a multi-tiered cake can be a different flavour, allowing you to offer a choice to your guests.

  • Luxury Madagascan vanilla cake with raspberry conserve and vanilla buttercream
  • Rich Belgian chocolate fudge cake
  • Tangy Lemon sponge with a lemon curd buttercream
  • Boozy Champagne and strawberry sponge with strawberry conserve and champagne buttercream
  • Luxurious white Belgian chocolate and raspberry mud cake
  • Traditional rich fruit cake soaked in Brandy

Many of the above cakes can be made gluten free.  Please ask for details.

Stand Hire

Many venues can provide a wedding cake stand, but it may not be to your taste or suit the style of your cake. At Joanna Rose we have a number of cake and cupcake stands for hire in both classical and contemporary styles. A selection are shown below.

Each stand is priced individually, and includes a returnable deposit depending on the cost of the stand. The stands must be returned within 5 days of the wedding in the condition and in the packaging they were provided.
